Waynetown - Nov 6 -- Isaac Newton Davis, 83 years old, a lifelong resident of Montgomery and Fountain counties, died Wednesday night at his home SW of here. He had been in ailing health four years and seriously ill three weeks. Born March 9, 1858, near New Market, the son of Manning S. and Angeline Smith Davis, he was united in marriage with Ida Westfall of Waynetown July 12, 1883. Surviving are the widow; three sons, Walter, Manning H, and Lawrence L. Davis all of near Waynetow; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Wilson of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Millie Connor of near Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Rhoda Miles of New Market; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Clara. Funeral services will be held at the Waynetown Baptist Church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, with Rev. Gary Albritton officiating.
